I am an HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered Clinical Psychologist offering evidence based individual, couple and group therapy.
I believe that psychology at it’s best creates a safe supportive space to be listened to, develop a shared understanding and out of that find solutions and approaches that really work - that’s what I strive to achieve! My approach is to work collaboratively, putting your experiences, interests, strengths and values right at the centre of the therapeutic process. I work in an integrative way, weaving together a range of models to create a personalised approach that aims to fit to you rather than the other way around.
I am trained to work with people of all ages with a range of physical and psychological difficulties including but not exclusive to:
Specialist Areas
Life Transitions - I have developed packages to support people going through significant life changes including injury, career changes and retirement including supporting military veterans transitioning out of the army. I co-created Tackling Transition an online course for professional athletes transitioning out of sport in response to my brother, an ex-professional rugby player, identifying need for a resource to support athletes to make positive transitions following sporting careers.
Trauma - I completed my doctoral specialty placement working with military veterans within an intensive trauma recovery setting, I have continued working with people experiencing trauma alongside neurological difficulties in inpatient settings as well as working with individuals in my private practice.
Neuropsychology - Having completed my Doctorate I then engaged in further training, completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology. I have worked with a people experiencing acquired Brian injuries and neurodegenerative conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I also support businesses by delivering training and strategies to support neurodiversity in the workplace.
Corporate Wellbeing - I partnered with Dr Steph Keay to create The Core Collective, a company delivering bespoke, evidence based approaches to corporate wellbeing that supports businesses to support their teams so they can thrive both for themselves and for your business. We offer training, wellbeing strategy creation, manager development, individual performance and wellbeing support.
