Samantha Eastwood

My name is Samantha and I'm a fully qualified person-centred counsellor. ​My qualification is a Foundation Degree in Counselling and I am registered with the National Counselling Society.

As a person-centred therapist my aim is to get to know who you are by asking questions, listening to your story, and gently challenging your perceptions to help me understand you better, as you learn about yourself. I'll accept you just as you are, trying to understand the world just as you see it, to find the blocks that are stopping you from feeling really fulfilled. I also work in a trauma informed way, and with your consent and when it is appropriate, use aspects of body based therapy in my work; guiding you to reconnect your mind and body, and helping you to understand how your body kept you safe then, and how those adaptive patterns might be disrupting your life now.

• Grief and bereavement
• Low self-esteem and confidence difficulties
• Low mood, depression and anxiety
