Daniela is a qualified Psychotherapist (Prof. Dip Psy C. / Reg. NCPS) working with adults, adolescents, and children through her bespoke private practice.
'Your experiences are unique to you. But you don't have to navigate them alone. I offer you a safe space in which to understand what you're going through. To find a way to continue living your life, self-aware and empowered.'
Daniela's practice specialises in two areas:
Women experiencing anxiety, life-change, or loss. Daniela works with women navigating a wide range of experiences: from grief, menopause, and the emotional weight of children leaving home, to anxiety, depression, and low self-worth. Her work with the UK's largest bereavement charity, has also given her a deep understanding of loss and transition in all their forms. Whatever you're carrying, the focus is the same: making sense of it together, and finding a way forward that feels like yours.
Children and adolescents navigating the challenges that come with growing up. Before retraining as a psychotherapist, Daniela spent a decade in pastoral and academic leadership in schools. That experience gave her a clear understanding of the pressures young people face — anxiety, identity, social dynamics, loss of confidence, masking — as well as the family systems around them and the value of working alongside parents where appropriate.
'Every therapy is a new therapy. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with each individual to understand their unique needs and support them through their circumstances. This is what's called a pluralistic approach. I put the relationship first, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic, and attachment-based methods, alongside creative approaches such as sand tray and imagery.'
